Rachel and Kate kettle dye all of their fiber with a combination of handspinning, millspinning, and hand plying to create these super special unique yarns. Their kettle-dyeing process is slow and meticulous, resulting in loooooooong color changes and unpredictable transitions through the skein... according to them, "every skein is like a snowflake! Or a fingerprint! One-of-a-kind, like you."

The color transitions are slow and dramatic, and each skein is unique.

sport weight // 100% superwashed American Wool // 200 yards per skein // hand wash or machine wash cold, lay flat to dry // suggested gauge: 8-5 sts per inch on US #2-7 // MADE IN THE USA FROM SHEEP TO SKEIN

Please Note: When planning larger projects requiring more than one skein, allow for nuance.
