The Maple Tote by Woodsy and Wild
The Maple Tote is our idea of the perfect carry it all bag- the generous interior has room for the biggest, coziest sweater projects, with a simple, sophisticated design that oozes form AND function. Tons of pockets keep you organized, and the beautiful, water-resistant waxed canvas bottom wipes clean, so you never have to worry about where you put your project down when the knitting mood strikes. And it all zips closed with a lovely, solid metal zipper to keep your project and your valuables secure.
-Thier biggest bag yet (16 inches wide, 11 inches tall when standing, with a roomy 6 inch deep gusset) easily accommodates bulky sweater projects. Or load it up with a smaller project bag (we recommend our new Sapling Bag!) and all your daily essentials and use it as a purse!
-Two exterior pockets: one zippered pocket to keep your notions organized and close at hand, one slip pocket to hold your pattern, a notebook, magazines, or tablet.
-Versatile waxed canvas tote straps for carrying, or wearing over the shoulder. Or add-on an adjustable strap for carrying cross-body (find it here: https://woodsyandwild.com/products/adjustable-cross-body-strap)
-A secure zippered top closure, with a lovely coordinating tab pull detail and extra wide opening that folds over to use as a yarn bowl
-A natural heavy duty canvas lining makes it easy to find items in your project bag, and keeps it sturdy without stiff interfacing. This lining is even tougher than the lining in our Birch and Sapling Bags.
-An innovative interior divider system with easy-close magnet snaps that:
-Protects your yarn from zipper snags
-Creates 3 yarn guides for colorwork (with no cutting necessary to free your yarn!)
-Creates roomy side pockets to keep larger notions, extra needles, hand cream, etc from getting tangled up in your project
-Keeps your knitting in place with the top open for knitting on the go
Fully lined with no exposed seams. Made with high quality, sturdy linen/cotton lightweight canvas. Base and straps are made with heavy-weight canvas waxed with beeswax for a water-resistant finish. Zippers and all findings are solid metal with an antiqued brass finish. Spot clean, iron as needed to smooth and restore shape (avoid ironing waxed canvas). Do not wash. Waxed canvas naturally ages and weathers- expect some lines and creases to form over time. We think this is part of its beauty! But a bit of dry heat from a hair dryer will redistribute the wax and remove crease lines ;)
Bags made in a smoke-free, animal-friendly home.
